Class Descriptions

Children's Day Out (CDO)

The CDO program is for children ages one through two. It provides a wonderful introduction to the classroom environment. Our emphasis is on helping children grow and develop socially in a Christian atmosphere. CDO teachers are carefully selected Christian people who love working with young children.

Children enjoy music, art, crafts, as well as special visitors and celebrations throughout the year. Chapel is an important aspect of the program enjoyed by all the children.

CDO is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 am until 2:30 pm.

Preschool

The Preschool provides children ages three to five a quality learning experience. Each child is recognized as a unique individual and encouraged to process information and experiences in the manner they most easily understand. Our focus is on supporting the development of intellect, social skills and self-esteem, allowing our students to enter kindergarten better prepared and with more confidence. Preschool teachers are carefully selected early childhood professionals.

Classroom computers, Spanish, field trips, outdoor learning centers and special celebrations enhance the preschool curriculum. Bible stories and Chapel are also an important part of the preschool.

The Creative Learning Center takes great pride in maintaining low student to teacher ratios. Our preschool operated Monday through Friday from 8:30 am until 2:30 pm with both half day (8:30 TO 12:00) and full day opportunities available. We also offer a Tweener class for "nearly" three-year-old children.

Pre-K 5 Class

The Pre-K 5 Class is a transitional class designed for young five year-olds who would benefit from an additional year of preschool before entering kindergarten. The Pre-K 5 Class meets on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 am until 2:30 pm.
