Pre-K 5

The Pre-K5 class is a transitional class designed for young five-year-olds who would benefit from an additional year of growth and development before entering Kindergarten.  This class follows a Transitional Kindergarten model and the Texas TEKS standards.  Within the small, yet structured, classroom environment, students use active, hands-on experiences to learn about language, reading, writing, math, science, and social studies.  Students are engaged in both whole and small group activities with unique opportunities for individualized instruction.  Pre-K 5 students thrive from the additional time to mature and are more prepared for the elementary classroom with greater independence and confidence in their academic abilities.
